Explore our solar system and beyond, launch rockets, and learn about some of the awesome things happening in space from University of Illinois students and members of the Illinois Space Society (ISS). ISS is an entirely student run organization and one of our main goals is to spread knowledge of and passion for space. Class will consist of many hands on projects and discussions that will be fun for anyone who wants to l earn more about space. Topics covered include: our solar system, basic astronomy, the space shuttle and other rockets, and unmanned space exploration such as the mars rovers. Instructors from the University of Illinois Space Society.
